The Launch

There's always a certain level of palpable excitement associated with creating a new company and seeing it come to life. In the world of business, one always wants to remain as professional as possible, but I'm one of those sort of people who has a hard time hiding how I feel. I've literally been bouncing in my office chair all day as I work away at building the new website and social media marketing for my hometown start-up.

For the past 5+ years, I've been providing website design and social media marketing for nonprofit groups / events in Indian River County. I used to do it professionally when I worked for someone else's company earlier in the decade, but that was a temporary side job. Since then, it just became sort of a hobby - something I did on the side to give back to good causes. I hadn't truly considered the possibility of it becoming anything more than that until recently. I've had multiple people in the community ask me: Do you do this professionally? Can I hire you to do the same thing for my business?

Like a ton of bricks from the sky, it hit me - Why not open a digital marketing business and do something I love more often? I truly do enjoy the creativity of the work - What's more, I'm pretty good at it :-)

So here I am - Sitting at my office computer, writing the first Blog about the official launch of Mackenna Street Media - And I'm chomping at the bit help you grow your business by creating your very own website and social media marketing plan!
